Summer Williams

Alumni Spotlight: Summer Williams

At Ysgol Bryn Alyn, we love celebrating former students who have followed their passions, and Summer Williams is a fantastic example of what can be achieved through hard work, determination and a belief in yourself.

Summer attended Ysgol Bryn Alyn between 2019 and 2024 and found her passion through Drama and Music. These subjects helped her grow in confidence and gave her the opportunity to develop her talents by doing what she loved most. She credits her teachers, particularly Miss Noon and Mr Humphreys, for encouraging and supporting her throughout her time at school.

After leaving Ysgol Bryn Alyn, Summer continued her journey in the performing arts and is currently studying Performing Arts at Coleg Cambria. She has already enjoyed great success, securing leading roles during her first year and taking on supporting roles in her college production of Chicago.

Reflecting on her experiences, Summer is excited about the opportunities that performing arts has given her and the confidence she has gained along the way.

Summer's Advice to Current Students

"Always follow your dreams and don't let anybody make you feel inferior or unable to do what you dream of doing. Believe in yourself and keep working towards your goals."

Summer's story is a wonderful reminder that confidence grows when you embrace your passions and take opportunities that allow you to shine. We are incredibly proud of everything she has achieved so far and look forward to seeing where her talent, creativity and determination take her next.

A huge thank you to Summer for sharing her story and for inspiring the next generation of YBA students to follow their dreams.

Dream. Reach. Achieve.
